About Me:I've traveled far and wide, for work, curiosity and love. I like to put down roots, but know when to pull them up. I love Portland the best, though, full of life and balanced. I work hard, too hard sometimes; taking time for myself and friends is important. Was married for nine years, but now is the season for... single me.
Interests:I love my black cat, had him since he mewed at me as an abandoned newborn on the sidewalk. I love art, especially impressionist paintings, and strange, svelte sculptures. Gardening is my true calling: nothing like seeing tiny seeds through to their destiny. My hands need to stay busy, and most recently they made a gallon of dandelion wine, now bubbling away in my pantry (ever pluck dandelion petals?). Trios: Candles, taking photos of anything, driving to somewhere new. Exercising before work, a cup of tea, and remembering what matters. A new lover's skin, a perfect seashell, a freshly baked cookie.
